• by plane to Berlin-Tegel, TXL (from this airport it is much easier and faster to reach the reserved hotels and the congress location) or Berlin-Schönefeld, SXF (here you will probably get the cheaper flights)
• by train to Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)
• by car: please use your navigation system and the respective addresses for the hotels; the address for parking lots at the congress location varies from the main address, please use “Otto-von-Simson-Straße” in 14195 Berlin-Dahlem

From Berlin-Tegel to the hotels and to the congress location:

General information for Tegel:

Upon arrival at Tegel Airport, please find your way to the Bus Terminal, which is located in front of Terminal A, from where buses depart into the city. A ticket can be purchased from a vendor or the bus driver for a cost of 2.70 EUR one-way. It may be helpful to have small change or 5 or 10 EUR bills on hand. The buses X9 or 109 towards S+U Zoologischer Garten depart from Tegel Airport every few minutes. Please note that it may be necessary to press the Stop or Halten button in the bus in order to alert the bus driver that you want to exit at a particular stop.

• Take the Bus X9 or Bus 109 to U Jakob-Kaiser-Platz (direction S+U Zoologischer Garten)

General information for Schönefeld:

Upon arrival at Schönefeld Airport, please find your way to the S Bahn or Regional trains (RB), respectively which are both in walking distance (approx. 450 m). A ticket can be purchased from a ticket machine for a cost of 3.30 EUR one-way. There a no ticket machines inside the trains. It may be helpful to have small change or 5 or 10 EUR bills on hand.

If you booked one of the congress hotels, please use one of the connections to S+U Zoologischer Garten

• Take the Regional train (Regional Bahn, RB/Regional Express, RE) RB 14 or RE 7 to Zoologischer Garten,
  or
• Take the S9 to S Ostkreuz (direction Pankow), then take the S5 (direction Spandau), the S7 (direction Potsdam Hbf) or the S75 (direction Westkreuz) to Zoologischer Garten
